I love knitting. And I’ve finally had a little time to get back into it. I barely did any since last winter! It’s such a shame, I know. I think I got burnt out on a pair of lacy socks I was working on (sock #1 still not finished!).  They’re cute though, and one day I will reveal the masterpiece!

In any case, this was a perfect project to get back into it. I wanted to make something for Penny (since I made something for Nikki when she was tiny). I decided on this sweater. The pattern was a breeze (after I checked the internet on how to do a few things). I’m so happy with it! Except I wish I hadn’t skimped on the yarn I bought. I got something acrylic! I know, horrible, right. I don’t have a huge expendable budget, though, so I have to make do.

I’m in love with this. I feel like I want to make them in every color! Perhaps using some nicer yarn this time? The pattern calls for bulky sock yarn. But from what I’ve seen, sock yarn is the most expensive. But it can be so adorable!  Anyway, now you can see how crafty I am!

Sometime soon, I’m going to be updating my etsy store with more items. I am ashamed to say it, but I forgot to get pictures of my “Van Gogh” inspired hat (inspired by the Almond Tree in Blossom painting).  I’ve already sent it off to be auctioned away at the HFA Gala Auction. I might actually go to the auction, and if I do, I’ll try to get a picture of it. I want to produce some more of those, and some new designs I’ve been cooking up. So, keep an eye on my etsy store!
